Dello Scompiglio - residenze
La forma della residenza si è data in modo quasi naturale fin dall’inizio del lavoro dell’Associazione Culturale, assecondando il dialogo costante tra l’attività performatica e gli spazi esterni e interni della Tenuta Dello Scompiglio, in cui ogni luogo può diventare spazio scenico e ogni ambiente è influenzato dall’attività artistica.
Gli artisti hanno la possibilità di immergersi nella vita della Tenuta e di confrontarsi con il luogo e con le persone che lo popolano, diventando così parte attiva del Progetto Dello Scompiglio in tutte le sue sfaccettature.
Gli alloggi in cui risiedono sono case passive alimentate con fonti naturali e poste all’interno dell’azienda agricola biologica.
Le residenze, aperte anche a gruppi informali, permettono l’accesso ad artisti che non godono di un supporto produttivo stabile, creando un’opportunità di sostegno in una fase iniziale, la più delicata e incerta negli esiti.
Non si definiscono settori d’intervento per tipologia artistica o per fasce d’età e, per i progetti teatrali, non è rilevante che una compagnia sia costituita o si tratti di un ensemble informale. I progetti possono essere editi o inediti, di qualsiasi dimensione o durata, da realizzare negli spazi interni o esterni della Tenuta e comprendere ogni tipologia di linguaggio.
Non tutti i progetti sfociano necessariamente con una produzione. Alcuni di essi si sviluppano in più fasi fino a terminare in un esito formale, altri periodi sono dedicati esclusivamente alla ricerca.
Questa estrema flessibilità è intesa a salvaguardare la libertà degli artisti nel proporre progetti anche di più ampia portata e non incorrere in una forma di auto-censura, giustificata dalla scarsità delle risorse e dalla difficoltà a gestire nel lungo tempo compagnie numerose.

The aim of the Association is to offer to musicians, performers and dancers the possibility to create their work in an outdoor environment and recreate this as a metamorphosis in the performance and exhibition spaces.

the relationship between artists, public, nature, culture are stimulated,
stirred filled, emptied...
Where even in the middle of the audience,
one can perhaps feel a little bit more individual.

A few ideas, but confused
The Tenuta Dello Scompiglio, the place where we have been operating for more than a decade, has a profound influence on the nature of our work. Within this landscape, artistic activities, agricultural work, managing the land and catering food coexist and feed each other, while respecting and developing the environment that has been given to us. The intention is to create a path towards an increasingly active and enterprising participation of individuals and the community they form.
Even before the quarantine and the health emergency we are currently experiencing, the Dello Scompiglio Cultural Association had already begun a period of pause with regard to the cultural activities open to the public, with the exception of the children’s theatre and some of the activities that were outstanding and part of the open call “Of Death and Dying”. We were interested in stopping for all of 2020, in order to take time to reflect on what we have done so far, but above all, to think about and create an idea of the future. It is always dangerous to be overwhelmed by having to go ahead at all costs and thus switching to autopilot, no longer questioning the purpose. A period of reflection with the idea of relaunching the general project of Dello Scompiglio with greater incisiveness, increasing the transversality between its different areas and the interaction between these and nature.
