Principio Attivo and La luna nel letto bring to life a show that, through body language, explores some of the deepest questions of childhood. From this, a world emerges that is free from definitive answers to difficult questions, in which two clowns embody the conflict between human and material dimensions, desire and duty, internal time and external time that marches on inexorably.
Inspired by the silent cinema of Fritz Lang, Buster Keaton and Charlie Chaplin, the artistic group tackles a complex theme using a theatrical language that speaks even to the youngest children, blending laughter and poetry. What do children think as they watch adults leave and return from work every day? Perhaps they wonder what they do there, why they always rush there, but above all, why do they keep going if they often seem sad? Doesn’t being a grown-up mean being free to choose? But in life, is there time to choose?
