The ferryman has the task of accompanying the souls entrusted to him from one bank to the other. With this same spirit, the Pac 13-18 Collective undertakes its artistic-pedagogical actions.
“We would like to meet a group of teenagers,” explain Anna Albertarelli and Nuvola Vandini “interested in taking an active part in a research process, which, through the art of the body, words, sound, images and with the support of anthropological research, examines the event of death as it passes from one state to another. We are interested in learning about the concept, the feelings, the experience of young people and, together, transforming them into a shared and communal drifting, like a ritual.”
This project involves up to fifteen teenagers from the Upper Secondary schools of Lucca and Capannori and consists of a course of four three-hour meetings, to be held at school between April and May and a residential part at the Tenuta Dello Scompiglio in June. The course will close with a public sharing act at the Tenuta Dello Scompiglio.
