Harmony Encounters Book
Book "Incontri d'Armonia" (Harmony Encounters)
The Associazione Culturale Dello Scompiglio published its first book entitled "Incontri d'Armonia" (Harmony Encounters) that documents the teaching activities of the "Accademia Dello Scompiglio" projext (15 workshops with as many guest teachers and 11 presentations with students), and the exhibition by Alfredo Pirri at two sites on the 8 of May and the final collective exhibition on the 29 of May of all the students together with guest artists, Jannis Kounellis and Maurizio Nannucci.
The course, tha was held from 8 to 29 May 2009 at the "Tenuta Dello Scompiglio" in Vorno, Lucca, under the direction of Alfredo Pirri.
The work is not just a catalogue documenting what happened, but rather an autonomous book exploring the topics touched on during the exhibition and seminars as a further stage of the seminar itself. It is a book, which, although documenting the course, also therefore contains original contributions and texts expressly conceived for this specific work.
The book is composed by five volumes, each one supplied by a wide choise of images, mostly taken from the picture stories of Andrea Martiradonna and Daniela Pellegrini. It is presented also in a precious edition, with a box-object designed by the graphic studio Meschiassociati, Lucca and produced by the Associazione Culturale Dello Scompiglio.

Paesaggi Dello Scompiglio (Landscapes of Dello Scompiglio),
curated by Gabriele Meschi with Cecilia Bertoni, depicts and presents the reality of the estate and the spirit of the Dello Scompiglio project in all its forms: from the dialogue and activities with the land, with the woods, with wildlife, with architecture, to the performing and visual arts projects in the inside and outside spaces of the estate.
Landscapes that bear witness to a search in continual transformation in which each element is entwined with another.

Alfredo Pirri allo Scompiglio (Alfredo Pirri at Scompiglio)
is a volume devoted to the exhibition of Alfredo Pirri and his works in the Chapel and the Sheep House. In addition there is an unpublished poem by Mariangela Gualtieri, texts by the artist and by Vicenç Altaiò.
Studi d'Armonia - Seminari (Harmony Studies - Seminars),
collects the contributions of participating lecturers and guests at the seminar involved at the time, such as Pietro Montani and Enzo Gualtiero Bargiacchi.
In addition to the texts of Vicenç Altaiò, Corrado Bologna, Daria Filardo, Pietro Montani, Valentina Valentini, and one written by Alfredo Pirri, the book contains a body of interviews with Enzo Gualtiero Bargiacchi, Annarosa and Giovanni Cotroneo, Lucia Cresti and Andrea Milani, Emmanuel Giraud, Jannis Kounellis, Francesco Prosperetti, Antonio Tucci Russo, edited by Barbara Goretti and Angel Moya Garcia.
Studi d'Armonia - Incontri (Harmony Studies - Encounters),
documents the exhibition and the works created at the end of the residence and presents the work and the research of each participant in the seminar: Francesca Banchelli, Camoni Chiara, Francesco Carone, Katia Goldoni, Barbara Gore, Angel Moya Garcia, Adriano Nasuti Wood, Daniela Pellegrini Raparelli Marco, Francesco Russo, Enrico Vezzi, Emiliano Zelada. Critical profiles are by Barbara Goretti and Angel Moya Garcia.
Studi d'Armonia - Echi (Harmony Studies - Echoes),
is conceived as a collection of notes, thoughts, reflections that have animated the days and work on the estate, marked by a text-diary of Francesco Russo.
Among other contributions are: a text by Angel Moya Garcia and an interview with Alfredo Pirri by Barbara Goretti.
