GIARDINI DI PLASTICA has blown out 500 candles, one for each performance made in its 18 years of existence.
The show accompanied the Koreja Company worldwide. The first performance was in 1996; since then Giardinidi Plastica has proved to be a perfect blend of poetry, games, magic, amazement and surprise that even enchants adults and has become the signature piece of the artistic project and the Company’s view of theatrical culture for small children.
The show holds your gaze, but leaves your imagination free to run at full gallop. If you decide to submit to the enchantment, prepare for an amazing journey on the discovery of magical worlds where colours, lights and sounds bend to your every wish. Unique worlds, each with its own wonders, where you can meet aliens, samurais, fairies, angels... where there is room for memories, dreams, emotions. With great visual effects, the scenes impact even those who are no longer children, due to the originality of ideas and the evocative strength of the images.
Pipes, clothing, headgear, poor and recycled materials of all kinds that with creative lighting transform into fantastical images, strange and funny visions, plastic scenes of movement of fantasy. There is no real plot other than that invented, there and then, in that moment by the three actors on stage and inspired by their transformations.
And plastics? Koreja enjoyed transforming it, playing with the simple objects of everyday life…and challenge you to recognise them.
