This performance is the final result of the workshop "I fallimenti collettivi", held from 13 to 18 November at the Tenuta Dello Scompiglio, led by Filippo Berta for the practical aspects and Angel Moya Garcia for the theory, with ten participants.

Human beings devote their lives in the search for a role that enables them to belong to society. This condition produces infinite individual attempts that are intertwined and animated by tensions and dualisms. In the middle of this disorder, political and religious ideologies posit regulations and solutions for a perfect society. Starting from this stimulus, the students will be motivated, during the workshop, to reflect on the role that they assume in society, and how this position can be enhanced by their artistic research. As a natural consequence, the reflection can be amplified to the idea of a social role for the arts, as opposed to the concept of an aesthetic escape from realty. In this way, it tries to deepen and develop the need of each student, stimulating them to find profound meanings in everyday experiences, even the most trivial, interpreting them as potential works for development.
